Returns, Refunds, and Exchange Policy

At iLamporul, your satisfaction is our top priority. We take pride in delivering fresh, high-quality groceries and essentials to your doorstep. If something isn’t right with your order, we’ve got a simple and transparent process for returns, refunds, and exchanges.

1. Eligibility for Returns & Exchanges

To ensure fairness and food safety, returns and exchanges are accepted under the following conditions:

  • Timeframe:

    • Report any issues within 24 hours of delivery for perishable items (fruits, vegetables, dairy).

    • Report within 3 days of delivery for non-perishable items (rice, dals, oils, packaged groceries).

    • Items must be unused and in the same condition as delivered.

    • Packaged products should be sealed and unbroken.

  • Proof of Purchase:

    • Provide your order number or invoice for verification.

2. Non-Returnable / Non-Exchangeable Items

Due to food safety and hygiene reasons, the following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Fresh vegetables, fruits, dairy products, or frozen items after 24 hours of delivery.

  • Products that have been opened, used, or altered.

  • Items purchased during special clearance sales marked as non-returnable.

3. How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

If there’s an issue with your order, here’s how to proceed:

  • Provide Details:

    • Order Number

    • Item(s) to return or exchange

    • Reason for return (with photos of the issue, if damaged or incorrect)

  • Approval:

    • Our team will verify the request and approve the return or exchange if it meets our policy.

Note: Please do not send items back without prior approval. Unapproved returns may not be processed.

4. Return Shipping & Pickup

  • Damaged or Wrong Items (Our Error):

    • We will arrange a free reverse pickup or replacement at no extra cost.

  • Other Reasons (Change of Mind, Wrong Item Chosen):

    • Customers may need to drop the item at our warehouse or bear the return cost.

5. Refunds

Refunds are processed after the returned item is received and inspected. Approved refunds will be issued:

  • To your original payment method (UPI, Razorpay, or card) within 5–7 working days

  • As store credit, if preferred, for faster reuse.

If the return request is rejected (e.g., opened or perishable beyond return window), we will inform you and offer the option to collect the product back.

6. Exchanges

Exchanges are offered for eligible products and quantities. Replacement will be delivered within 1–2 business days, subject to availability. If the requested item is unavailable, we will provide a refund or store credit.

7. Store Credit

Store credit is valid for 90 days and can be used on any future iLamporul purchase. A unique credit code will be shared with you via WhatsApp or Email.

8. Order Cancellations

Orders can be cancelled only before dispatch (typically within 1–2 hours of placing the order). Once dispatched, the order will be processed as per this Returns and Refund Policy.
