At iLamporul, we take pride in delivering fresh, quality groceries to your doorstep, right on time. This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how we process and deliver your orders to ensure a smooth, reliable, and stress-free shopping experience for your family.

1. Order Processing Time

All orders placed on ilamporul.in are processed immediately upon confirmation. Same-day or next-day delivery is available for most locations in Coimbatore city. We operate primarily on a night-to-morning delivery schedule (10 PM – 11 AM) to ensure that your groceries arrive fresh before your day begins. You will receive an email, SMS, or WhatsApp notification once your order is dispatched.

2. Shipping & Delivery Charges

  • Free Delivery: Orders above ₹999 are eligible for free delivery within Coimbatore city limits.
  • Standard Delivery: A small flat delivery charge of ₹50 applies to orders below ₹999.
  • Bulk Orders (B2B): For kalyana mandapams, hostels, and catering services, delivery charges (if any) are communicated clearly at checkout based on order size and location.

All applicable charges are transparently displayed before you confirm your order.

3. Estimated Delivery Times

We specialize in flexible delivery days to ensure a reduced delivery fee:

  • Coimbatore City (Main Areas): Within 4 days of order confirmation
  • Gated Communities, Hostels, and Apartments: Delivered on Wednesdays and Sundays
  • Bulk/Event Orders: Scheduled delivery slots can be arranged during checkout or via our customer support team

Note: Delivery times may vary during peak seasons, festivals, or due to unforeseen circumstances.

4. How to Track Your Order

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a WhatsApp/SMS confirmation with delivery details. You can also check the “Track My Order” section on ilamporul.in using your order ID to get real-time updates. For bulk or custom B2B orders, our dedicated account manager will coordinate with you directly.

5. Delivery Partners

All deliveries within Coimbatore are handled by our trusted in-house delivery team to maintain freshness and quality. For large or urgent orders outside our standard route, we may partner with reliable local logistics providers.

6. Delivery Attempts

Our team will make 2 attempts to deliver your package. If you are unavailable during both attempts, we will contact you to reschedule the delivery. Re-delivery may incur additional charges in some cases.

7. Delays in Delivery

While we strive to always deliver on time, delays may occur due to:

  • Heavy rain or extreme weather
  • Local festivals, holidays, or traffic restrictions
  • Large order volumes during peak seasons
  • Recipient unavailability

In case of any delay, we will proactively inform you via WhatsApp, SMS, or phone call.

8. Damaged, Missing, or Incorrect Items

We take extreme care in packing and delivering your groceries. If your order:

  • Arrives damaged
  • Has missing items
  • Contains incorrect products

Please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with your order ID and photos (if applicable). We will investigate immediately and arrange for replacement, refund, or resolution as appropriate.
